Nick Cannon claims his ‘super sperm’ beats birth control: ‘Still got pregnant’
Super sperm assemble!
Nick Cannon revealed his “super sperm” is the reason he has 12 children on Tuesday’s episode of Howie Mandel’s “Does Stuff” podcast.
The 42-year-old said he isn’t purposely knocking up his baby mamas since he’s practiced birth control — and women still get pregnant.
“I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something,” he said, “’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant.”
Mandel asked if Cannon is done having kids, and he said: “I guess … yeah? I don’t wanna say yeah, and then, like, you know, it’s the reproductive system … it could happen at any time … I’m good with my dozen.”
“I’m trying to be as responsible as I possibly can, learning lesson,” he added.
Cannon began his journey into fatherhood in 2011 with his ex-wife and pop diva Mariah Carey when they welcomed their now-11-year-old fraternal twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
He also has two sons, Golden Sagon, 6, and Rise Messiah, six months, and a daughter, Powerful Queen, 2, with Brittany Bell.
Cannon continued using his “sperm super” powers, bringing another set of twins into the world: Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 1, and a 6-month-old daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa.
In 2022, the “Wild ‘n Out” host welcomed his son, Legendary Love, nine months, with Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx Ice, six months, with LaNisha Cole.
The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” actor ended his busy baby-making year with the birth of his daughter, Halo Marie, with Alyssa Scott after losing their son Zen to brain cancer in 2021.
“Zen’s time on this earth would be limited. We knew he would not make it to see six months. I am eternally grateful he was in the arms of the people who loved him most,” Scott shared in an Instagram post.
“Over the weekend I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus that is pretty much a malignant, midline brain tumor — brain cancer,” he said at the time.
The comedian has received an endless amount of backlash for fathering 12 children with 6 women, but he always reacts to the haters with humor. During an interview with Audacy’s Hot 104.1, he was told his “pull-out game is trash” and responded with, “My insert game is amazing.”
In a recent interview on the “Howard Stern Show,” the host challenged Cannon to name all of his children but noticed the comedian skipped over his daughter, Onyx Ice Cole.
Cannon played it cool, “Ah, no! You know, I did. You threw me off, because I was going in order!”
He admitted that he was going to have a “problem” with the mother of his child — who has been very critical about Cannon’s parenting style — for leaving out their little one.
Even with the ups and downs, the “Masked Singer” host told Mandel that he embraces every moment of fatherhood.
“Everything is challenging, but the fact that I get to see all my children in one day and get to see them each and every day when I’m in town, even when I’m not in town, I take them with me,” he said. “I love the challenge.”
