‘Not something I’d ever do again’

She never wants to view “The View” again.

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell did not hold back as she reflected on her time as a host on the popular daytime talk show, revealing that it was something she wouldn’t want to do again.

“I know this — it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness,” she said during a Tuesday appearance on Brooke Shields’ podcast, “Now What? With Brooke Shields.”

“It was not something I’d ever do again,” O’Donnell continued.

The 61-one-year old was a moderator on the show during the 2006 to 2007 season.

At that time, she famously had a few tiffs with her fellow co-stars, including one especially volatile 2007 tussle with conservative commentator Elisabeth Hasselbeck – something she spoke more about during the podcast appearance.

She explained that she wasn’t a fan of the relationship that Hasselbeck, who appeared on the show as a permanent co-host from 2003 to 2013, had with producer Bill Geddie.

“Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on there and Bill Geddie was the producer of an all-women’s talk show with supposedly a woman’s voice was a man, an old, cis, white man, Republican who was against everything that I believed in and stood for, and he loved Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and would go into her little dressing room and give her notes and talking points of the Republican press that they would release daily,” O’Donnell alleged.

“She had the talking points,” the former host added.

Geddie was an executive producer on the show from its premiere in 1997 until 2014.

They have since enlisted other producers.

When contacted by The Post, O’Donnell’s representatives said she would have “no further comment.”

O’Donnell said that she came into the show wanting to “love” Hasselbeck “no matter what” and wanted her to open up about her feelings rather than the facts when it came to talking about certain stories.

Of their infamous feud during the May 23, 2007 episode, the comedian alleged that she felt like Hasselbeck had thrown her under the bus.

Their dustup began when they got into a 10-minute shouting match about their different political views on the Iraq war – but it quickly turned ugly, with the two women going so far as to seemingly insult each other personally.

“One day on the show, she kind of threw me under the bus and I was like, ‘Are you f–king kidding me?’ I finished the show, got my coat, walked out, and said, ‘I’m not going back’ — and I didn’t until a few years later when they asked me to come back. And Whoopi [Goldberg] was on it and we clashed in ways that I was shocked by,” the comedian said.

The “Sleepless in Seattle” star came back to host the talk show from 2014 to 2015 and alleged that some of her differences with Goldberg were due to the fact that she wanted to discuss what was happening with the Bill Cosby scandal, while Goldberg did not.

The Post reached out to representatives for Geddie, Hasselbeck, O’Donnell and “The View” for further comment.

This is not the first time that O’Donnell has spoken out about her time on the talk show and her clash with Hasselbeck.

Last summer, when Hasselbeck made a return to “The View” O’Donnell took to TikTok to label the comeback as “strange.”

“I remembered why I don’t want to watch it with her anymore,” she snarked. “Her little Post-It notes, I don’t know.”

Currently, the hosts of “The View” include Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
