Ohio dad lands in jail for repeatedly calling kid’s school to gripe about too much homework
An Ohio dad landed in detention — behind bars — this week for repeatedly calling his kid’s school to complain about too much homework.
Adam Sizemore, 37, was charged with telecommunications harassment and menacing after phoning his child’s school several times, warning the principal at one point that he “better put his big boy pants on,” leading the school official to fear violence, WXIX reported.
When the school stopped taking his calls, Sizemore directed his tirades at the Oxford Police Department, the outlet explained.
“He calls dispatch, I think it was 18 times, roughly,” Oxford Police Detective Sgt. Adam Price said.
Sizemore can be heard on audio recordings becoming frustrated that the dispatchers will not tell him their names.
When a dispatcher refused to directly connect him with the police chief, Sizemore lost his patience.
“He can come to my f–king house. I pay for him. He can come to my house,” he snapped.
Dispatchers eventually sent a team of officers out to speak with Sizemore, who was taken into custody on the misdemeanor charges, WXIX reported.
