Pete Davidson sets Netflix special ‘Turbo Fonzarelli’ after canceling shows

Pete Davidson is back to making fans laugh with his new Netflix comedy special, “Turbo Fonzarelli.”

The event is set to debut Jan. 9 and comes just weeks after the “Saturday Night Live” alum, 30, mysteriously canceled several shows last month.

Netflix dropped a quick teaser Wednesday, showing Davidson smoking a cigarette.

The black-and-white clip then features the comedian walking out of a room to see his adoring, screaming fans.

But then a voiceover joked: “What the f–k is a Turbo Fonzarelli?”

The show synopsis reads that Davidson “delivers on what it means to grow up and turn 30, discussing love, life and living in the woods,” according to People.

Fans were excited to see Davidson on their streaming screens once again.

One screamed: “Wait on January 9th we get Pete Davidson’s new Netflix stand up special wooo!”

“Turbo Fonzarelli” is Davidson’s second comedy special after his 2020 event “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.”

Another fan added: “Eagerly waiting for this showw!”

“Can’t wait for this,” someone else said alongside a chef’s kiss emoji.

“Turbo Fonzarelli” is the actor’s second Netflix special, following 2020’s “Pete Davidson: Alive in New York.” (During that stand-up, he famously dissed his ex-fiancee, Ariana Grande.)

The “King of Staten Island” star has recently taken his show across the country.

The “SNL” star canceled a few shows last year due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

He will have appearances in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and will be proceeding with a Minnesota show Friday and a show in Mashantucket, Connecticut, on Saturday.

He mysteriously canceled shows Dec. 22 and 23, with the first event being canned just two hours before it was set to begin.

New York’s Beacon Theatre told fans on social media that the last-minute halt was due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Viewers took to X to express their disappointment over the cancellation at the time.

“Turbo Fonzarelli” will premiere on Netflix Jan. 9.

“Was literally about to walk out the door for the pete davidson show just to see it was canceled 2.5 hours before the show started….. rip this week is not going my way,” a fan tweeted.

“Was excited to see Pete Davidson tonight but his show just got canceled,” another person chimed in.

The New York native was spotted Dec. 29, stepping out with his girlfriend Madelyn Cline, where the pair grabbed drinks at Bobo’s Cafe in Somers, NY.
