Philadelphia business owner and his family tied up in home invasion witnessed by 4-year-old daughter
Shocking footage captured armed intruders tie up and assault a Philadelphia business owner and his family during a broad daylight home invasion this month.
The business owner’s 4-year-old daughter witnessed the terrifying attack in which the masked suspects made off with a safe.
Footage released by police shows armed suspects jump out of a black Acura around 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 6 and run up on the business owner and one his employees along a residential street, forcing them into his home.
Once inside, another video shows the perps restrain the victims while a young child stands off to the side in the family’s kitchen.
The suspects are then seen rolling a safe out of the house and back into the Acura before it takes off.
The wife of the business owner told CBS Philadelphia her daughter who witnessed the traumatizing event is only 4-year-old.
“She was over there crying and saying please don’t,” Lanny Ipina said.
Ipina said she was in the kitchen making breakfast when the burglars barged in and threatened to kill her family.
The victim told investigators that the four offenders were Hispanic men, Philadelphia police said. Along with his safe, firearms and jewelry were also stolen from the house, authorities said.
Police are still working to identify and arrest the suspects.
