Prince Andrew hides away at Balmoral with Charles after doc: report
Prince Andrew is reportedly attempting to stay hidden at Balmoral Castle in Scotland following the release of the new A&E documentary series “Secrets of Prince Andrew.”
The Duke of York’s checkered past and friendship with dead financier Jeffrey Epstein was explored in the recent bombshell doc.
Andrew, 63, has retreated to the royal’s summer residence with his family as the dust settles from the show’s explosive claims coming to light, according to a report.
Royal expert Pelham Turner revealed to Fox News that the disgraced prince accepted the invite to stay in Scotland from his brother King Charles.
“The royal clans are descending on Balmoral,” Turner divulged.
“It will be interesting to see how many olive branches grow on royal trees,” he added.
The Post has reached out to reps at Buckingham Palace for comment.
This summer will be the first time the royals visit Balmoral following the death of Queen Elizabeth last September.
The Duke will soon be joined by other members of the fam, including his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as well as Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie.
Turner went on to note that King Charles, 74, could be going easy on Andrew due to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson’s breast cancer battle.
Ferguson, 63, was diagnosed with the illness earlier this year and underwent a mastectomy.
“To Di For Daily” podcast host Kinsey Schofield echoed Turner’s thoughts, saying: “This could be King Charles’ soft heart on display — giving Prince Andrew and Fergie a bit of peace while she recovers from a breast cancer scare.”
The radio personality continued: “[Andrew] is lucky to have Fergie and his girls. He continues to be a liability to the royal family. … Andrew’s association with Jeffrey Epstein will… be his legacy.”
Fergie also received a special invite to the Castle, royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News.
“I don’t think the King has much patience for Andrew,” she alleged. “They have never been necessarily close. Had Andrew’s behavior not been so destructive towards the royal brand, his Majesty might even enjoy watching his gregarious younger brother be publicly humbled.”
Andrew’s alliance with Epstein goes back to 1999 when the two first met through now-imprisoned socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
The former Royal Air Force solider had convened with the convicted pedophile — who allegedly committed suicide in jail in 2019 — several times over the years.
Victim Virginia Giuffre accused Epstein of trafficking her to Andrew, who after his death, filed a sex abuse lawsuit against the duke in 2021.
As a result, the late Queen stripped Andrew of his military and royal titles, and he stepped down from public duty.
