Prince Harry and Meghan send well wishes to King and Kate Middleton amid health scares
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly sending their best to estranged family members King Charles and Kate Middleton as each is healing from their respective health scares.
A source told the Mirror on Saturday, “The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health. The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to express their concern and best wishes.”
The Post has contacted reps for Harry and Meghan, as well as Buckingham and Kensington Palace, for comment.
The Palace announced Wednesday that Charles, 75, is set to undergo a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate this coming week.
Sources told the Telegraph that Harry learned about his father’s medical event through the media. Palace insiders claim they made an effort to inform all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, who stepped down as a senior member in 2020, but the private message reached the red-headed royal after the public announcement.
Meanwhile, Middleton, 42, underwent “planned abdominal surgery” on Tuesday and will be staying at The London Clinic for up to two weeks as she recovers.
Kensington Palace released a statement saying the procedure was “successful,” though Middleton is “unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate,” the memo continued “She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible.”
Harry and Meghan’s alleged olive branch comes months after Piers Morgan claimed royal expert author Omid Scobie declared Charles and Middleton as the “racist royals” who expressed concern over Prince Archie’s skin color.
The California livin’ pair were urged to speak about the allegations, which were allegedly accidentally included in the Dutch versions of Scobie’s “Endgame,” but they decided to stay mum on the subject.
Harry, 39, accepted the Living Legends of Aviation award on Friday in Beverly Hills. Markle, 42, was a no-show.
