Prince Harry dons three-piece Dior suit to King Charles’ coronation

Prince Harry donned a custom suit by Dior at his father King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday, the French fashion house shared.

“Dior is honored to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones,” Dior wrote on Twitter a couple of hours after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The brand shared a photo of the red-headed prince, 38, arriving at the Abbey in the three-piece morning suit — and encouraged fans to appreciate the “savoir-faire” of the look.

Menswear designer Jones, 49, was born in London and graduated from the British capital’s revered Central St. Martins College of Art & Design, Interview reported.

He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in Queen Elizabeth’s 2020 Birthday Honors.

Harry’s fashionable getup, however, was understated compared to the rest of his family: King Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla, 75, donned elaborate coronation outfits.

Even Prince Andrew – who was stripped of his royal and military honors last year amid a sexual abuse scandal – was allowed to wear traditional garter robes.

Harry — who has been estranged from the royal family since he and wife Meghan Markle, 41, moved to California in 2020 — was demoted to a third-row seat in the Abbey.

The coronation also marked the first time the prince has seen his relatives since the release of his memoir, “Spare,” earlier this year. 

Many onlookers noted that he looked “uncomfortable” while he attempted to crack jokes with his seatmate.

Seemingly eager to avoid an awkward run-in with his father or older brother, Prince William, 40, Harry immediately left for Heathrow Airport after the ceremony.

He is expected to fly home shortly, where he will join Meghan and the couple’s two children, Prince Archie, who turns four today, and Princess Lilibet, 1, at their Montecito estate.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Meghan had opted to skip her father-in-law’s coronation to preserve her own “peace.”

“Should she come over and just stand next to her husband, the commentary and the narrative of the day would have been very different,” biographer Omid Scobie told ITV’s “This Morning” on Wednesday.
