Prince Harry hailed a ‘visionary’ as he and glam Meghan Markle mingle with Canadian elites at Invictus banquet
They got the royal treatment.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry schmoozed with Canadian politicians and celebrities at the Invictus Games One Year to Go Dinner in Vancouver on Friday night.
The Sussexes — who recently rebranded by launching a slick new website — glammed up for the glitzy event, where Harry was hailed as a “visionary” in a song performed by Michael Bublé.
Meghan, 42, showed some shoulder in a strapless olive green gown that highlighted her slim physique.
Harry, 39, complemented his wife by wearing a tie in the same shade of green.
The royals have been in Canada for the past week gearing up for the 2025 Invictus Games, which will be held in that country next February.
During Friday’s gala, Bublé performed a song he co-wrote with Paul Anka that honored Harry and sent “healing wishes” to King Charles.
The monarch, 75, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month after being admitted to the hospital for an enlarged prostate.
“Who knew, dreams can come true, when life tells you, you’re far from finished/ Nothing tames, Invictus Games, you play them your way,” Bublé, 48, crooned.
“One man, life-changing plan, he does all he can, he’s a visionary/ Our healing wishes for your dad/ You’ve earned each day, the right to say, I did it my way,” the track continued.
Harry — who is the founding patron of the Invictus Games — also gave a heartfelt speech at the event.
He first thanked the audience “for being here tonight and for your commitment to making Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 possible.”
“When I am with the Invictus community surrounded by so many brave men and women who have served their countries with distinction, I feel humbled and at home,” the “Spare” author added.
“This year will mark ten years of the Invictus Games. The past decade has been a testament to the power of resilience and the unbreakable spirit you all exemplify. And boy have we had fun on the way,” he said.
Earlier on Friday, Harry and Meghan appeared at another promotional event for the Invictus Games accompanied by Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato.
The Canada trip came just days after the prince’s visit to see Charles amid his health battle in England on Feb. 6.
