Prince Harry only stayed 30 minutes at Buckingham Palace before flying to LA

Prince Harry didn’t waste one precious second trying to get back home to his family in California following King Charles’ coronation.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, spent just a half-hour at Buckingham Palace and didn’t see any members of the royal family after the event, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Harry jetted off right after his father’s crowning in England on Saturday, May 6, to get back to the United States for the fourth birthday of his son, Archie.

He did not attend the Coronation Concert on Sunday, nor was he present for the official enthroning portraits taken at the palace after the religious service.

The former military man was unable to see the royals due to practical and logistical reasons, according to the Telegraph, which added that it was due to the family being busy with coronation duties.

Harry — who spent just 24 hours in his homeland before flying back to California — was spotted at London’s Heathrow Airport soon after the sermon concluded at Westminster Abbey and took a British Airways flight straight to Los Angeles.

Tensions have been running high within the Firm between Harry, his older brother Prince William, 40, King Charles, 74, and his wife, Queen Camilla, 75, for quite some time.

Most recently, Harry published his memoir, “Spare,” which detailed his contentious relationship with his fam, as well as his mother Princess Diana’s death, his marriage to Meghan Markle and more.

At the coronation, Harry was seated in the third row at the Abbey, alongside his cousin, Princess Eugenie, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, as well as the late Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, Princess Alexandra.

William and his wife, Kate Middleton, 41, sat in the front pew with their kids, Prince Louis, 5, and Princess Charlotte, who turned 8 last week.

According to a source close to the royal family, they were confused as to why Harry even “bothered to come at all.”

“One makes one’s choices,” an insider told Vanity Fair. “To be honest there wasn’t much talk of Harry at all. The focus was very much on the occasion.”

But all hope didn’t seem to be lost, as Charles allegedly toasted to Archie’s birthday — “wherever he was” — at a family meal shortly after the coronation ceremony.

A source told the Daily Mail on Sunday that the newly-crowned monarch paid tribute to the little one, as well as “those that weren’t there” at the Buckingham Palace buffet dinner.

The intimate gathering started off with the Prince of Wales congratulating Charles on the day’s events, the insider said.

The sovereign then expressed his gratitude to his entire family for making the historic coronation a great big success.

“It was apparently a very sweet moment,” the source revealed.
