Prince Harry will never ‘forgive’ King Charles for removing his military titles: expert

Prince Harry will “never forgive” his father, King Charles, for making a “hate-filled” decision to remove his honorary military titles, according to a royal expert.

Royal author and biographer Robert Jobson, who penned “Our King: The Man and the Monarch Revealed,” said the Duke of Sussex “hates” that his estranged father took such drastic measures after quitting royal life in 2020.

Harry, who served two tours of Afghanistan, previously held several honorary military titles, including Commodore-in-Chief of Small Ships and Diving, Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Honington, and Captain General of the Royal Marines.

The titles were awarded to him by the late Queen Elizabeth II but were taken once he officially stepped down as a senior working member of the royal family in Feb. 2021.

“He hates the idea that he is not Captain General of the Royal Marines…and he hates the fact that he’s lost all these positions,” Jobson told True Royalty TV’s “The Royal Beat” on Monday.

“If he’d been in the royal family, and not gone down this path, I think he’d have been hugely beneficial to the country, and he could have done even more.”

Jobson claimed having his honorary military titles taken away from him is a sensitive subject for Harry and something that he likely won’t forgive his father for doing.

In another blow to the exiled royal, Harry was last month quietly stripped of “His Royal Highness” from his profile page shortly after the Express pointed out the “major blunder” on their site.

His and his wife Meghan Markle’s names were also moved toward the bottom of the family’s main page — beneath working members of the Firm but right above disgraced Prince Andrew.

Prior to the update, Harry had been referred to as “HRH” twice.

Despite that, Jobson last month noted that the King will not be stripping Harry and Meghan of their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles as a special gift from the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The Sussexes agreed to give up their royal privileges after announcing their swift departure from royal life in 2020.

They wasted no time packing up and hightailing it across the pond to Canada, before ultimately settling down in star-studded Montecito, Calif.
