Prince William celebrates birthday with pals at London nightclub

He’s the king of dad dance moves.

Prince William was spotted awkwardly bopping along to electro music as he celebrated his birthday at a London nightclub.

The first in line to the British throne hit the trendy KOKO club in Camden with pals last Friday night — two days after he turned 41.

However, it appeared William wasn’t entirely in a celebratory mood, filmed stiffly surveying the crowd from a balcony as he clutched a drink in his hand.

The prince’s two pals — including longtime friend Guy Pelly — put on a far more animated display, seen dancing energetically in a video obtained by Daily Mail.

Pelly, who has been friends with William since childhood and is Prince Louis’ godfather, donned Elton John-style costume glasses and thrust his hips enthusiastically to the music.

The third friend, believed to be Princess Charlotte’s godfather James Meade, also bopped to the beat with vigor.

It appeared to be a boys’ night out to mark the future king’s birthday, with Princess Kate seemingly absent from the festivities.

Prior to their 2011 marriage, William and Kate were fixtures on the London party scene, often pictured stumbling in and out of the city’s hottest nightclubs.

The couple is now rarely spotted together out on the town, instead staying home with their three children, George, 9, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5.

During his clubbing heyday, William was also frequently seen out with Pelly, 41, with whom he has been friends for decades.

Pelly, who previously opened and ran his own London nightclubs, is the aristocratic son of Lady Carolyn Herbert — who was a close friend of Princess Diana.

Party-loving Pelly is also pals with William’s brother, Prince Harry, and has reportedly managed to maintain good relations with both of the brothers despite their current estrangement.

Both princes attended Pelly’s 2015 wedding to Holiday Inn heiress Elizabeth Wilson.

William’s Friday night outing came just hours after he attended Royal Ascot with Princess Kate.

The mother-of-three stole the limelight from her husband at the horse racing event, wowing crowds in an eye-catching crimson dress.
