Pro-Hamas protesters vow to shut down JFK as cops vow crackdown

Waves of Hamas-loving protesters are planning to descend on John F. Kennedy Airport on Saturday looking to repeat the havoc they caused there on New Year’s Day.

“Flood JFK for Gaza,” read a promotional ad for the event which began circulating online this week. The “flood” language is a direct allusion to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Hamas’ name for the Oct 7 terrorist attack in Israel which left at least 1,200 dead.

“Bring flags, keffiyeh, signs, banners and decorate your cars,” the banner continued, calling on the disrupters to congregate outside Terminal 4 arrivals.

The New York Police Department — which has so far taken a blasé approach to the unrest, allowing wanton mayhem with few consequences — this time vowed it would get tough with agitators.

“Trying to shut down an airport ? You will be the one getting shut down! We respect peaceful protest but will not tolerate lawlessness,” warned NYPD Assistant Commissioner Kaz Daughtry in an X posting Friday. “The NYPD stands ready to ensure that our airports are operational and that hardworking New Yorkers going on vacation are not inconvenienced.”

NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell echoed those calls on X as well. “Don’t flood our highways and inconvenience our hard-working tax-paying New Yorkers. If you do, we will try to flood our jail cells with you and take your car!”

Since the Hamas Oct 7 terrorist attack in Israel, New York City has been inundated by demonstrations in support of the terrorists, who have staged near-daily demonstrations on college campuses — like NYU and Columbia —  and disrupted the Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting.

Despite daily — frequently antisemitic — rallies, no meaningful effort by city officials has been made to crack down on the disruptions so far.
