Putin ally falls to death from third-floor window

Vladimir Egorov, a political ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was found dead on Wednesday after allegedly falling from a third-floor window, according to Russian state media.

Egorov, 46, a member of Putin’s United Russia party who served as Tobolsk City Duma deputy, plunged from the third-floor window of a house in Tobolsk in the Tyumen Oblast, Russian Telegram channel Baza reported.

The prominent politician was found in the front yard of the home with “no sign of criminal death on the body,” according to reports.

Egorov may have suffered from heart problems before the 30-foot plunge, according to the 72 news outlet.

“One of the most likely reasons is heart problems,” said an interlocutor.

Heart issues are frequently given as an explanation for untimely or suspicious deaths of prominent people in Russia, particularly since the start of the war against Ukraine.

Pathologists are awaiting official autopsy results to establish Egorov’s cause of death.

Police are investigating what exactly caused his fall, Baza reported.
