Real Madrid target Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, PSG want £50m-rated Harry Maguire from Man Utd – Paper Round
The new Galacticos
Real Madrid are ready to launch an ambitious attempt to sign highly-rated youngster Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland this summer. Club president Florentino Perez is rivalling Europe’s top clubs to sign Bellingham, while he will try to tempt Haaland to leave Manchester City after just one season in the Premier League.

“They are also looking at Haaland as a replacement for 35-year-old Karim Benzema. Perez at one point wanted to bring in both Mbappe and Haaland but the Madrid president is now said to be intrigued by the idea of testing Manchester City’s resolve as regards their Norwegian forward.
“Perez was expected to delay any such move until summer 2024, but Madrid are at least willing to test the situation.”
PSG want £50m Maguire
Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to offer a lifeline to Manchester United captain Harry Maguire this summer. The Sun state that the French champions failed in an attempt to sign Maguire in January and will follow up their interest on the England international, who is valued at £50 million.
“PSG will have to match Maguire’s £200,000 a week wages but with the club backed by billions of Qatari petro-dollars that is not seen as a problem.”
Man Utd target three Lions
Manchester United are preparing for another summer of huge transfer investment as the club make Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham their top targets. However, the Sun reveal that Erik ten Hag has lined up Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount as a cheaper alternative to Bellingham, who may be out of their price range.
“England midfielder Mount is increasingly being viewed as an ideal fit for the Dutchman’s plans going forward. It is thought Chelsea could accept a bid worth about £50million.
“Ten Hag’s top target remains Tottenham and England star Harry Kane. United are growing ever more confident of landing Kane, whose camp have expressed an interest in the move.”
Spurs’ prepare managerial shortlist
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy have not made a final decision on Antonio Conte’s future, but are preparing a plan for if the Italian fails to help them qualify for the Champions League next season. Spurs have already prepared a five-man managerial shortlist ahead of the summer.
“It’s well known Mauricio Pochettino would go back, with some of the players still pining for that era.
“Spurs would also strongly consider Brentford’s Thomas Frank, with all of Marco Silva, Thomas Tuchel and Luis Enrique on the radar but seen as less likely for different reasons.”
