Thailand’s Baipat Siripaporn had already claimed the other main tour spot after winning the World Women’s Championship in March.
Evans made breaks of 75 and 55 to lead Bai 3-2, but was forced to witness her opponent claim the final two frames for victory.
The consolation comes in consolidating her spot on the main circuit for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaign.
