Robbie Williams concertgoer fighting for her life after fall during show

An elderly woman is fighting for her life after falling down six rows of seats during the Robbie Williams concert in Sydney on Thursday night.

The woman, aged in her 70s, is in an induced coma at St Vincent’s Hospital after a shocking fall at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.

She suffered head and face injuries during the incident and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

“We treated her on scene to injuries to her face and head and took her to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition.”

A Venues NSW spokesman said staff at the stadium, as well as a bystander, tended to the woman before emergency crews arrived.

“The patron was attended to immediately by venue staff and a nearby guest who is a qualified medical professional,” they told The Daily Telegraph.

“Medics arrived shortly after and the patron was taken from the venue by ambulance to hospital.

“We are working with NSW Police and will provide further updates as they become available.”

Almost 40,000 fans descended on the Sydney stadium on Thursday for the opening night of Williams’s XXV Australian Tour.
