Royal member Thomas Kingston’s death under investigation

Thomas Kingston’s shocking death is under investigation.

The royal family member, Lady Gabriella Windsor’s husband and Pippa Middleton’s ex-boyfriend, was found dead at a home in Gloucestershire, England, on Sunday. He was 45.

“Please be advised that HM senior coroner for Gloucestershire, Ms Katy Skerrett, will conduct the opening of the inquest into the death of Mr Thomas Henry Robin Kingston at 2pm Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Gloucestershire Coroner’s Court,” a court official told Us Weekly on Thursday.

The Post has contacted the court for comment.

Kingston’s death was not being ruled as suspicious when news initially broke.

The late financier and Lady Gabriella had been married since May 2019. Gabriella, 42, is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, the late Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin — the latter of whom attended Gabriella’s nuptials with her husband, Prince Phillip, before the monarch’s death in September 2022.

“It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son and brother,” read a statement from Kingston’s family amid his death.

“Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family, and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing.”

Buckingham Palace was also notified about the equity analyst’s passing and released a statement on Tuesday.

“The King and the Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family,” the memo read.

“In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and to all the Kingston family.”

A friend of Gabriella’s spoke to the Daily Mail about seeing the couple at a Feb. 21 National Gallery event in London just days before his shocking death.

“They seemed happy and positive as ever,” the friend told the outlet Wednesday. “Ella [Gabriella] was particularly chatty.”

“None of us saw it coming,” the source continued. “I cannot understand it.”
