Salernitana 0-3 Juventus: Max Allegri’s side claim first league win since points deduction as Dusan Vlahovic nets twice

Dusan Vlahovic scored twice as Juventus returned to winning ways in Serie A with a 3-0 victory at Salernitana.

The Bianconeri – who started the night in 14th following three games without a win and a 15-point deduction – also had Filip Kostic on the scoresheet.

Vlahovic made the breakthrough from the penalty spot in the 24th-minute after Fabio Miretti was fouled by Hans Nicolussi, who is on loan from Juventus.

Filip Kostic took advantage of some slack defending to double Juventus’ lead on the stroke of half-time, just moments after Miretti was stretchered off with an ankle injury.

After a run of four months without a goal, Vlahovic added his second of the night just after the restart with a cool finish past Guillermo Ochoa.

It could have got even better for Juventus but substitute Moise Kean was denied by the woodwork.

Victory lifts Juventus into 10th in Serie A, 12 points adrift of the top-six. They host Vlahovic’s former club Fiorentina on Sunday evening next.
