Sara Haines tries to morph into penis live on ‘The View’
She kept her eye on the prize.
“The View” host Sara Haines decided to have a little fun on Monday’s episode. Summoning her best acting skills, the 45-year-old did her best impression of a penis while the other ladies watched in shock and awe.
Leading up to the eye-opening moment, the panel was enthralled in discussion about the new reality series “Naked Attraction,” which was quietly added to the Max streaming service last week.
Imported from the UK, the controversial dating game show promises to “go back to the basics and start where a good date often ends — naked.”
On “The View,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg seemed less impressed, describing the series as a show “where contestants choose dates based on their naked bodies.”
Each episode of “Naked Attraction” features a “chooser,” who picks between six potential mates while they stand onstage and have their bodies exposed one part at a time until only their face is hidden.
When only two potential matches remain, the chooser also gets naked before the final pair go on a date clothed.
After co-host Ana Navarro quipped that the dating series should be called “Naked and Well-Lit” — “Not Naked and Well-Hung,” Haines joined in confessing she probably would never have the guts to appear on the series.
“I don’t feel confident naked,” she said. “It might be my own body dysmorphic disorder, but I’m not going to go and give my most vulnerable self and say, by the way, let’s just go down and strip on out. The other thing is, the human body, there are parts that are beautiful. A penis? Not one of them.”
Haines then closed one eye and bent her body to imitate a limp penis. She then added, “And I would say the vagina is barely above that.”
Haines did not attempt to imitate a vagina.
Legal expert Sunny Hostin jumped in to admit that she binged the show with her husband, Manny, and observed “some pretty penises” in the series, which inspired Goldberg to hit her iconic bell to move the conversation along.
“The View” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/PT on ABC.
