Scotland soar to divisive win over the USA at men’s World Curling Championships, while Japan overcame New Zealand

Scotland stole victory from the hands of the USA with a striking 10-8 win at the World Curling Championships.

Down by two after eight ends, Bruce Mouat’s rink clawed their way to a win with an all-important two-stone steal in the final end.

Without the hammer, it was all tactics for Scotland, as they forced several errors out of John Shuster’s team and propelled themselves to a fourth win out of five games.
