Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs mutes social media comments with Easter post after home raids
Sean “Diddy” Combs has muted the comments section of his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts after the rapper returned to social media following the raid on both his LA and Florida homes.
In an Instagram post that marked his return to the platform, Combs posted various photos of his 1-year-old daughter, Love, dressed in a floral dress and pink coat with a matching floral bag.
“HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love,” he wrote on Sunday to mark the holiday.
Several of the other photos show the little one, whom he shares with ex Dana Tran, walking in a field.
Last week, Combs, 54, was the subject of two high-profile raids conducted by Homeland Security in connection with a sex trafficking investigation on March 25.
The raids included federal agents confiscating many of the music executive’s phones and computers.
“We believe that there is a disturbing history of sex trafficking,” a Department of Homeland Security officer told The Post, without elaborating on the specific allegations.
“We are responding to concrete, detailed, explicit allegations. This is not random. We didn’t choose his name out of a hat. We had allegations that we’re following up on.”
Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, later called the raids a “witch hunt.”
“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer said in a statement to the Post on March 26.
Dyer also said, “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
Combs has been in hot water as of late. Last month, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against the music mogul, citing that he participated in acts such as sexual misconduct, grooming and sex trafficking.
Jones alleged that the “Coming Home” singer repeatedly sexually assaulted him from September 2022 to November 2023.
Jones further claimed that Diddy continuously groped his genitals while also grooming him into having sex and forcing him to procure sex workers.
The former employee also alleged that Combs threatened “to eat” his face, brandished guns and even bragged “about bribing witnesses, and jurors in the criminal case concerning the 1999 NYC nightclub shooting with Shyne.”
Additionally, Jones claimed that he was drugged and subsequently raped during a February 2023 party he attended with the singer.
Combs’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, slammed Jones in a statement to Page Six, stating that Jones was “shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday.”
“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit,” Holley stated. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.”
“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them,” he continued.
In November 2023, Combs and his ex, R&B singer Cassie, also settled a lawsuit that accused him of raping and physically abusing her for over a decade.
Both sides “resolved the claims … to their mutual satisfaction,” Cassie’s lawyer announced without disclosing the terms of the settlement.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, wrote in a statement at the time.
Combs, for his part, said in a statement: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.”
Combs’ alleged sex trafficking investigation continues, however.
On Saturday, two sources within law enforcement told The Post that a 1999 nightclub shooting — which involved another one of Diddy’s ex-girlfriends, Jennifer Lopez — could possibly be re-investigated as agents seek to widen the probe into Diddy’s affairs.
Despite the increased media scrutiny, the “Bad Boy for Life” crooner was spotted smiling in Miami on Friday and Saturday.
