Selena Gomez seemingly confirms relationship with Benny Blanco — shades ex Justin Bieber
It doesn’t look like Selena Gomez will be “Single Soon.”
The “Love You Like a Love Song” singer seemingly confirmed she is dating acclaimed producer Benny Blanco, 35, on Thursday.
Gomez, 31 soft-launched the relationship with a cryptic picture on her Instagram Story, in which she rests her head on a bearded man’s shoulder — presumably Blanco, 35, — who is wearing diamond bracelets and an eccentric button-up with zebras on it.
But she confirmed the romance in writing by commenting on an Instagram post from Pop Factions speculating that the duo were an item.
“Facts,” she simply wrote, which quickly sent her fandom — and her haters — into a frenzy.
One troll commented on the outlet’s post, claiming Gomez dating Blanco displayed a “lack of self-love” since fans believe he referred to her as “one of those cookie-cutter pop artists” back in 2020.
“Oh sweetheart,” Gomez replied. “I’ve been in therapy since I was 18. I know what’s best for me and I will fight till I get what I deserve. I appreciate your misguided input but I’m growing. Don’t feel free to grow with me just know I’m not going to be with a f – – kboy ever again. Sorry to disappoint.”
Another hater said of Blanco, “HE IS SO UNHANDSOME,” to which Gomez replied, “[I] feel bad for you.”
Elsewhere in the comment section, the “Only Murders in the Building” actress claimed Blanco “has treated me better than any human being on this planet,” and “He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.”
The Post has contacted reps for Gomez and Blanco for comment.
“Just a reminder of how much I appreciate and live each and everyone (sic) of you,” she wrote in her Instagram Story after addressing the online chatter.
Gomez and Blanco duo collaborated on “I Can’t Get Enough” in 2019, which also featured J Balvin and Tainy.
Blanco has worked with just about every pop star whose been relevant in the last decade — including Gomez’s famous ex, Justin Bieber, as recently as 2020 on the Biebs’ “Lonely.”
Blanco made the “cookie-cutter” comment that same year during an appearance on “The Zach Sang Show” while promoting the collab.
“Justin’s not one of those cookie-cutter pop artists,” he said. “Like you know, they’re like, ‘this is my new single, and here’s my makeup line,’” he said, in an example fans suggested referred to Gomez’s Rare Beauty makeup company.
“And he’s like, Justin’s like, ‘yo. I have a pimple and I have anxiety today.’ He’s always been upfront about that stuff.”
