‘Shocking events’ – Violent pitch invasions mar Fenerbahce’s win over Trabzonspor
“Fenerbahce secured a crucial win in their title battle with Galatasaray on the weekend as they beat Trabzonspor 3-2. However the game was marred by violence as Trabzonspor fans invaded the pitch at full-time and got into altercations with Fenerbahce players. FIFA president Gianni Infantino called for repercussions. The Turkish FA said they will enforce “criminal sanctions”.”
