Snoop Dogg warms up to Trump, offering ‘love and respect’ after pardon of Death Row co-founder

Rapper Snoop Dogg appears to be changing his tune on former President Donald Trump.

Weeks after shocking the world with his satirical quip that he would “give up smoke” last November, the 52-year-old rapper made waves in a recent interview when asked about the 45th president.

“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop told the Sunday Times. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris.”

“I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

During the waning days of his administration, Trump granted clemency to Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry O” Harris, who had been convicted of attempted murder in the kidnapping.

Snoop previously had a much harsher stance on Trump, urging his fans back in 2019 to vote against him.

“I just want to say this real quickly,” Snoop pleaded to his fans on social media at the time. “Ain’t no f—ing way y’all can vote for Donald Trump when he come back up again.”

“And this punk … don’t care. Don’t vote for that n—, please don’t. Look what he do. He just don’t give a f—.”

In 2017, the rapper dropped a video for “Lavender” in which he mocked shooting “Ronald Klump.”

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!” Trump fired back at the time on Twitter, now known as X.

The West Coast rapper also called him a “racist, f—king clown president.”

Even before Trump first took office, Snoop headlined a Comedy Central roast of Trump in 2011.

“Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time you’d pushed a black family out of their home,” the rapper joked during the roast about murmurs of Trump running for president at the time.

One of his album covers for Make America Crip Again featured an image of the iconic rapper basking over a seemingly dead body covered by an American flag with a tag that said “Trump.”

Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., Snoop previously softened his stance on Trump after granting clemency to Harris.

“That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out. They did some great work while they was in there and they did some great work on their way out. Let them know that I love what they did,” he said in remarks shared with The Post back in 2021.

“It is amazing what the work of God can actually bring to life to make people understand that there is a God.”

Trump is the overwhelming frontrunner for the Republican nod to be president.
