Southampton relegated from Premier League after loss to Fulham, Crystal Palace beat Bournemouth
Southampton were relegated from the Premier League after losing 2-0 to Fulham on Saturday afternoon, while Crystal Palace beat Bournemouth.
Southampton had home advantage but it was not enough, as the visitors scored twice in the second half.
Macro Silva’s Fulham had two-thirds of possession as they dominated the match.

Carlos Vinicius opened the scoring just three minutes into second half, and Aleksandar Mitrovic made it two late on as he marked his return from an eight-match ban for shoving referee Chris Kavanagh.
The defeat leaves Southampton bottom of the table, eight points from 17th spot, occupied by Everton, and was little surprise after another lethargic performance as they approached a little over a decade in the top flight.
The three points for Fulham lifts them into ninth place, with an outside chance of some form of European football if results go their way in the next two matches.
Their next league game is against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage next Saturday.
At Selhurst Park, Palace were 2-0 winners over Bournemouth with a brace from promising forward Eberechi Eze.
The 24-year-old scored on 39 and 58 minutes with no response from the south coast side.
Bournemouth are six points clear of the bottom three, in 14th.
