‘Southern Charm’ star Taylor Ann Green’s brother dead at 36

Richard Worthington “Worth” Green, brother of “Southern Charm” star Taylor Ann Green, has died at the age of 36.

In a statement from Green, 28, and her family to The Post, they said that “heartbroken is an understatement.”

“Worth left this world on top of the world — he had a beautiful passion for life and cared deeply for those around him,” the statement read. “We are going to miss his jovial personality and all of the love and laughter that he brought his family, girlfriend and countless friends.

“Heartbroken is an understatement, but we are finding so much peace knowing he is in the arms of our Heavenly Father. We kindly ask for privacy at this time.”

“Southern Charm” is a hit reality show on Bravo, which declined to comment.

Taylor’s sibling, Catie King, also posted a tribute to her brother on Instagram Tuesday, announcing that he passed away on Thursday, June 8.

A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Showing off a carousel of smiling photos of her brother, King wrote in the caption that the family will “never be the same.”

“💔 You are the best big brother I could have ever asked for,” King wrote. “This family will never be the same. I love you to the moon and back.”

The third slide also included an obit, which read, “In loving memory/ Worth Green. You’re always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.”

His sister, Taylor Ann Green, appeared on “Southern Charm” during Seasons 7 through 9, as she was dating longtime star Shep Rose.

The two began dating in 2020, but broke up in July 2022, according to People.

Rose commented on King’s Instagram tribute for Worth, writing, “Absolutely one of a kind. A pleasure to know and to laugh with. ✌️.”

An obituary written on the Westmoreland Funeral Home & Crematory website in Marion, North Carolina, described the 36-year-old as a “beautiful example,” and a personality that was “vibrant, outgoing, and loving.”

Green graduated from East Carolina University in 2009, and was a senior project manager at Weatherguard Roofing & Restoration in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to his LinkedIn page.

According to his obituary, after college, he moved to South Korea to teach English as a second language, which quickly developed into a deep passion and love for travel.

Recently, he had also started a “small men’s group” in Raleigh, North Carolina, to talk about life and “challenge each other’s faith in Christ.”

But most of all, it seemed that Worth loved his relatives more than anything.

“Worth loved his family dearly,” the obituary read. “Any excuse to be with them, he truly loved with his whole heart. He was a vivacious and loving son and grandson, and the best big brother to his sisters, always being there as a protector and a cheerleader.”

The obituary continued, revealing that he had recently met a woman who brought “so much joy” to his life.

“Most recently he met the woman he adored and treasured,” the obit read. “Caroline brought so much joy to his life. He loved her enough to bring her home to his family and was beginning to plan a future with her by his side. Friends too numerous to name will miss the exuberant love for life that Worth brought to them.”

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday.

The obituary also noted that instead of flowers, Worth would want people to use those funds to spend time with their friends and family instead.
