Speedway Grand Prix 2022: Dan Bewley produces historic victory despite tough track conditions in Cardiff
Great Britain’s Dan Bewley cruised to a historic victory in Round 6 of the Speedway Grand Prix in Cardiff.
It is Bewley who picks up 20 championship points to move him onto 64 which puts him comfortably in the top six in the standings. He becomes the first British winner in Cardiff in 15 years.

After a night full of drama on a tricky track which required plenty of grading, a final meeting between Bewley, Madsen, Zmarzlik and Dudek took place.

Doyle crashes again and is visibly upset after heat 19

Bewley, who finished qualifying in first place, stormed out of his blue gate, stormed ahead of his rivals and never looked back, pumping his fists when he crossed the line in a time of 54.294.
Bartosz Zmarzlik (+0.878) came in second while his compatriot Patryk Dudek (+1.346) took third. Denmark’s Leon Madsen had to settle for fourth (+3.751).
