Speedway of Nations: Defending champions Great Britain win play-off to reach final alongside Sweden, Czech Republic
Defending Speedway of Nations champions Great Britain required a play-off victory over France to reach this year’s final in Vojens.
Sweden topped the standings on 35 points following impressive riding from Oliver Berntzon and Speedway Grand Prix star Fredrik Lindgren.
They were joined by the Czechs who had Vaclav Milik and Jan Kvech to thank for their shot at glory this weekend.
Finishing fourth, Great Britain had to face the French in a play-off but a dominant performance from Tai Woffinden and Dan Bewley saw them through.
