Stefan Kraft soars to Ski Jumping World Cup comeback victory at Engelberg

Stefan Kraft soared to his fifth Ski Jumping World Cup win of the season with a gutsy comeback display in Engelberg.

The Austrian ace beat compatriot Jan Hoerl to be crowned king of the large hill for the first time in four events and extend his lead at the summit of the standings.

German Pius Paschke, who triumphed in Saturday’s competition, bagged bronze in Switzerland but it was all about Kraft as he recovered from a below-par first jump to return to the top of the podium for the first time in two weeks.
