Asked in the Eurosport studio how close to his best does he believe he’s playing, Bingham responded: “Very close. I feel pretty close.”
He added: “I’ve been through it, the last couple of months where everything you can see going wrong, goes wrong, and it’s unbelievable when it does go wrong. But when it goes right, it’s the best game ever.”

Unsurprisingly, Bingham was in jubilant form given the manner of victory and addressing the crowd at Alexandra Palace, he laughed: “I thought he [Murphy] was lucky to get nil!
“An unbelievable performance, same again as Wednesday night.
“Before I came out, I was all nervous and that first frame obviously settled me, and I went from strength to strength.
“It [The Masters] brings the best out of me. It’s definitely good coming back to a venue where you know you’ve done the business.
“Unbelievable crowd. Sorry it was 6-0, it’s an early night, but I’ve got an important match tomorrow night with Mr Judd Trump!”
Bingham has credited Chris Henry for his significant improvement, and he once again singled his coach out for praise.
“Working with Chris, I feel like I can trust what I’m seeing. Working basic stuff with Chris and it’s obviously working its magic.
“I think I’ve just gone from strength to strength. I’m knocking hundreds for fun. Everything looks so easy. It’s like the Matrix, what Ronnie sees or what Davis and Hendry see in their day!”
And his display wasn’t lost on Eurosport expert Alan McManus, who said: “He’ll be absolutely buzzing because that was the performance of the last three or four seasons by Stuart.
“The overall performance was brilliant.”
