Taylor Swift debuts ‘Midnights’ lyrics on billboards globally

The Swiftie in your life will surely be losing sleep this week.

The 32-year-old music icon will be stirring up the hype for her upcoming album “Midnights”— which drops Friday — by revealing a new lyric each night this week at the stroke of 12 on a billboard in cities around the world.

The first lyric was revealed at the witching hour Monday on a huge video screen in Times Square — and read, “I should not be left to my own devices.”

“Listeners around the world have spent many a midnight with Taylor Swift. Through life’s triumphs, celebrations, and hardships, Taylor’s music and lyrics have always been a source of comfort when the clock strikes 12 and beyond,” Spotify, which is teaming with Swift, said in a statement.

“This is why Spotify has teamed up with Taylor to exclusively reveal lyrics from her new album ‘Midnights’ around the world leading into the album’s release.”

The billboards are just a small piece of the “Midnights” marketing plan.

The 32-year-old pop star also promises a “special very chaotic surprise” upon the release of “Midnights.”

On Thursday, during the NFL game on Prime Video, Swift will release a teaser trailer for the album.

There will also be a “special very chaotic surprise” three hours after the album’s release on Friday.

Swifties will likely be pulling an all-nighter as the “Lover” songstress will drop the music video for her new song “Anti-Hero” at 8 a.m. EST.

A second music video for a yet-to-be-announced track is promised for Oct. 25.

Swift will also make a rare interview appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Oct. 24. Then she’ll fly across the pond to the UK for a stop at “The Graham Norton Show” on Oct. 28.

The “Shake It Off” singer first announced the new album in August while accepting her record third Video of the Year trophy at the MTV Video Music Awards.
