All crew members were reported by skipper Kevin Escoffier to be safe.

Team Holcim-PRB were in the lead at the time of the dismasting – which involves the mast breaking – nine miles ahead of 11th Hour Racing Team.
It is understood that Escoffier’s boat may not have to return to Itajai – the start-point for Leg 4 – but instead a different Brazilian port where they can collect a spare mast.
Leg 4 of The Ocean Race 2022-23 began on Sunday, with the five boats still in the early stages of their 6,387-mile journey from Itajai to Newport, Rhode Island.
Team Holcim-PRB lead the current overall standings, with 19 points from the three legs to date.
