The Savannah Bananas in Staten Island: Where to buy tickets

It’s about to get wacky in Staten.

Baseball’s most inventive team, The Savannah Bananas, are heading to Staten Island’s SIUH Community Park for a game against Pete Davidson, Colin Jost and Michael Che‘s Ferryhawks Friday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m.

Then, they’ll face their rival Party Animals on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m.

Want to see the Bananas use trick pitchers, have catchers set up on bean bags and watch players drive tractors on their way to the batting box?

Well, you still can.

Last-minute tickets are available for both games.

The only problem is they’re not exactly cheap.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $111 before fees on Vivid Seats.

While that may seem like a lot of cash to shell out for a minor league game, don’t forget that you might see a dancing umpire or two.

If the games in Staten are too last minute for you, no need to worry. The Bananas will be back in NY to play at Syracuse’s NBT Bank Stadium on Sept. 14 and Cooperstown’s Doubleday Field on Sept. 16.
