‘The View’ celebrate Trump’s 83M defamation verdict with ‘Apprentice’ theme song

They were excited he had to pay the money, money, money, money.

The six co-hosts of “The View” got catty Monday when they walked out to “For the Love of Money” by The O’Jays while celebrating the verdict from former president Donald Trump’s defamation lawsuit, which cost the media mogul $83.3 million.

“Woo,” jeered moderator Whoopi Goldberg as she danced her way to the show’s Hot Topic’s desk as the tune, which was played in lieu of the talk show’s normal theme, blared overhead.

“Hey now, welcome to ‘The View.’ We just walked out to The O’Jays’ ‘For the Love of Money,’ which is the theme song of ‘The Apprentice’, and that’s connected to the fact that [Trump] has to pay money, money, money, money,” Goldberg, 68, continued.

“You know, if he had just shut his mouth, he’d have been dealing with $5 million,” the “Sister Act” star continued. “But, this is what happens when you’ve got a hard head and a soft behind.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin weighed in, stating she was worried about Trump’s temperament as he attempts to secure a second term in the White House.

“Someone who lacks that kind of impulse control that cost him $83.3 million should be nowhere near a nuclear code,” Hostin, 55, quipped, while Ana Navarro added that she “thoroughly enjoyed” the verdict.

Navarro, 52, also slammed the former president for gloating “about grabbing women by the hoo-ha” before offering: “Well, the women grabbed back.”

“E. Jean Carroll grabbed him by the pocket, which hurts him the most,” Navarro gloated.

Trump’s former White House communications director, Alyssa Farah Griffin, also criticized her former boss by praising the jury members for giving Trump the “first real consequence” for his actions.

Goldberg closed out the topic by stating: “I know this is gloating, I know. But, what a damn shame this is for all of us. This is what it took to get justice for one woman. For one woman who said, listen, enough.”

“I’m glad there is finally one. This is the first one,” continued Goldberg. “I don’t know if we’ll see any more consequences, but I’m damn glad for this one.”

“The View’s” dig at the former president comes mere days after Trump, 77, was ordered to pay writer E. Jean Carroll after a jury ruled he had defamed her.

According to a broken-down verdict, $65 million was meant to punish Trump, $11 million to help Carroll rebuild her reputation, and another $7.3 million to compensate her for her pain and suffering.

In a Truth Social post, roughly 20 minutes later, Trump — who had already left the courthouse — blasted the jury’s “absolutely ridiculous” verdict and vowed to appeal it.

Carroll, 80, said it was “a great victory for every woman who stands up when she’s been knocked down, and a huge defeat for every bully who has tried to keep a woman down.”
