Theophilus London, a Kanye West collaborator, missing since July: family
Rapper Theophilus London, who has collaborated with Kanye West and other big-name musicians, has been reported missing by family and friends who say they haven’t heard from him since July.
London, 35, hails from Trinidad and Tobago and recently called Los Angeles home. His family filed a missing person’s report Tuesday with the LAPD, according to news reports, and those close to him are asking the public for any information about London’s whereabouts.
London is described as Black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 175 pounds, with dark brown eyes. Anyone with information is directed to contact LAPD or London’s cousin, Mikhail Noel, on Instagram at @iamdjkellz.
In a statement provided to Variety, his family said they have spent the last few weeks desperately searching for London or any information that could lead to his location.
“On December 27th, family members of Theophilus London traveled to Los Angeles to file a missing persons report with the LAPD. They are now seeking the public’s help with any information as to London’s whereabouts,” the statement read.
“Theo, your Dad loves you, son. We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son,” his father, Larry Moses London, said in the statement.
London is best known for his heavy involvement in West’s “Donda” album. London has released three studio albums and worked with artists such as Travis Scott, Tame Impala, Ellie Goulding and Big Boi. He dropped his “Bebey” album in January 2020.
The Post contacted the LAPD for comment.
In 2014, The Post described London as “Kanye and Karl Lagerfeld’s hip-hop brainchild.” Lagerfeld shot the cover of his 2014 album “Vibes!”
The Post reported Flatbush, Brooklyn, is where London spent a good part of his childhood.
“I lived all over — Harlem, Queens, and I read the New York Post all the time!” London exclaimed. “I’m not just from Brooklyn — I’m from New York.”
