Tori Kelly’s husband shares health scare update: ‘We see the sun’

Tori Kelly’s husband has given an update about the two-time Grammy winner’s health after she was admitted to a hospital, reportedly for treatment of blood clots, last weekend.

“Tori is smiling again and feeling stronger,” André Murillo wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, July 26. “Not fully out of the woods but we see the sun. Just waiting on a few more answers.”

He then went on to thank fans for their concern, writing: “Your love and kindness has been overwhelming. Thank you so much!”

The country singer was rushed to a hospital in “really serious” condition Sunday after collapsing while at dinner with friends.

Sources said the 30-year-old was “out for awhile” and was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital by her own car rather than by ambulance.

On Tuesday, Murillo shared an Instagram Story that consisted of a black screen along with lyrics from Justin Bieber’s wistful song “Where Do I Fit In,” which features vocals by Kelly:

“When I’m all alone and fear is all I see / Sitting in the silence with these insecurities / It’s then you remind me, you’re holding me tight / And you love me completely, you’re always by my side.”

Bieber then chimes in, “And you say to me,” to which Kelly responds, “It’ll be alright.”

The singer/songwriter won Grammys in 2019 for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song.
