'Tough decision' – Sale confirm Tuilagi departure to Top 14 side Bayonne
“England centre Manu Tuilagi has departed Sale Sharks and signed a two-year deal with Top 14 team Bayonne. Tuilagi, who made 40 appearances for Sale after joining from Leicester Tigers in 2020, said the move was a “tough decision for everyone”. The transfer is set to make the 32-year-old Tuilagi ineligible to play for England, for whom he has made 60 appearances.”
