The Barcelona midfielder was in action for the Netherlands last night, playing the full match as they beat Wales 3-2 thanks to a stoppage time Memphis Depay winner.

After the game, De Jong was asked about the speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford this summer.

“You’re always flattered when teams show interest in you as a player,” he said.

“I’m at the biggest club in the world at the moment and I feel fine there, so no news.”
