UCI Downhill World Cup: British sensation Jordan Williams, 18, wins on elite debut in Lenzerheide

British teenager Jordan Williams (Specialized Gravity) marked his elite debut with an astonishing victory at the UCI Downhill World Cup in Lenzerheide as his world champion team-mate Loic Bruni faded to finish third.

Williams, 18, soared to the top of the timesheets with a remarkable ride of 2:39.222, with rider after rider failing to dislodge him from the summit.

After winning the semi-final, French star Bruni set the timing screens green in the first three sectors, but eventually slipped to third behind Williams and Loris Vergier (Trek Factory Racing Gravity).
