Ultra Right Beer expected to hit $1M in sales amid Bud Light boycott

Ultra Right Beer, the drink launched by a conservative dad following Bud Light’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, is expected to surpass $1 million in sales.

Despite only being in business for 12 days, Ultra Right has gained more than 10,000 customers and sold 20,000 six-packs, with the company on course to break $1 million by the end of the month, Fox Business reported.

Founder Seth Weathers, who touts his beer as “100% Woke Free,” said the rise in business demonstrates a movement of conservatives dumping brands they don’t like and supporting those who share their values.

“This is more than a beer company, it’s a movement of people who are speaking up and saying no,” he told Fox. “We’re done. This is our line in the sand.”

The beer, which fetches for a whopping $19.99 a pack, came into prominence following backlash over Bud Light featuring Mulvaney in an ad, which prompted detractors to call for a boycott against Bud and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch.

Weathers, who describes himself as the CEO of a Georgia-based “uncensorable” conservative lifestyle brand, saw the opportunity to market his beer, launching it with an ad campaign specifically calling out Bud Light and Mulvaney.

The ad features the “Conservative Dad,” smashing a can of Bud Light with a baseball bat. The video has been viewed more than 46 million times.

Weathers called on his supporters to “hold the line” and not allow the boycott against Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch to fizzle out like other protests against companies who embraced “woke values” in the past.

“This behavior from Big Corporate will never end until conservatives hold the line,” Weathers said. “We’ve never followed through, but this is our chance. Never buy another Anheuser-Busch product again. Ever. Period.

“Until we cause permanent economic harm to a woke corporation who treats us like garbage, they will never stop,” he added.

While sales for Ultra Light appear to be growing, Bud Light’s sales tanked by 17% in dollars, with volume dropping a whopping 21% in the week ended April 15, according to data from NielsenIQ and Bump Williams Consulting.

The Mulvaney campaign has unleashed a torrent of negative publicity for Anheuser-Busch, which announced Friday and over the weekend that the marketing executives responsible for tapping Mulvaney — Alissa Heinerscheid and Daniel Blake — are taking leaves of absence.

It comes as Maybelline is the latest company to face backlash over its partnership with Mulvaney, who showed off the cosmetic line in a recent Tik Tok post celebrating her 365th day of publicly identifying as a woman.

Along with Bud Light and Maybelline, Mulvaney has partnership deals with Nike, Amazon Prime, KitchenAid, OkCupid and others.
