United defender George set to miss rest of season with ACL injury
“Manchester United have confirmed that defender Gabby George requires surgery on the ACL injury she suffered against Leicester in the WSL on Sunday. It is the second time in her career that George has ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament and the likelihood is that she will miss the remainder of the season. George joined United from Everton in the summer and vowed to “come back stronger”.”
