Wembanyama misses out with ‘frustrating’ ankle injury as Spurs suffer defeat
“The San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is on a “minutes restriction” and will not play back-to-backs for a couple of weeks as he nurses an ongoing ankle issue. The 19-year-old has been left frustrated as he was left out of the Spurs’ 134-128 defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers. “Heu0027d rather be playing. It frustrates him more than anything,” coach Gregg Popovich admitted.”
