What ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor Angus T. Jones looks like now
The former half man has a whole new look.
Angus T. Jones was recently snapped by a keen-eyed shutterbug while shopping for groceries in Los Angeles — a rare sighting for the all-grown-up child actor.
The 29-year-old co-star of smash-hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” showed off a dramatic, dark buzz cut, a bushy beard and Jeffery Dahmer-style glasses.
The disheveled look was a startling departure from the cute, reddish shag hair style he was famous for during the show’s ten season, sometimes controversial run.
Jones, who notoriously once called the show “filth” and encouraged people not to watch, all while earning hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode, was seen casually sporting a black t-shirt and gray sweat shorts.
The Post has contacted a rep for Jones for comment.
The actor has led a life largely outside of the limelight since his time in the spotlight making America laugh, alongside Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen — and later, Ashton Kutcher — in the CBS series, from 2003 to 2015.
He was last spotted in May of this year, walking barefoot in Los Angeles wearing a red baseball cap, a gray t-shirt and shorts.
Long before he left the show, the actor famously called out his employer in a passionate 2012 rant — all while raking in an impressive $300,000 an episode.
“If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men,’” he preached in a YouTube video, posted by the Christian group Forerunner Chronicles.
“I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment…” he continued.“Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.”
Jones seemingly had a change of heart and later retracted his statements, issuing a somewhat apology about his “Two and a Half Men shade.
“I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that,” Jones said in a November 2012 statement.
“Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on ‘Two and Half Men’ with whom I have worked and over the past 10 years who have become an extension of my family,” he added.
“I was very confident at that time,” Jones also revealed of his decision to leave in an exclusive interview with People. “Going to college was something I was really, really excited about.”
The comments came barely a year after TAAHM found itself making global headlines in the wake of actor Charlie Sheen’s epic 2011 meltdown, which stopped production on the show for the remainder of the season.
