Which ‘Rings of Power’ character embodies your zodiac sign

When it comes to one of the most successful Amazon Prime Video original series ever, “The Rings of Power” is a powerhouse that has been at the top of the ratings charts for the entirety of its first season, which premiered on September 1st!

Adapted from J. R. R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” novels and an offshoot of the film franchise created by Peter Jackson, “The Rings of Power” is set hundreds of years before the originals.

Amazon’s decision to funnel nearly $500 million into the first season has also helped the series to go down in history as the most expensive television series ever created. The show is slated for five seasons with at least fifty hours of story to explore.

To understand the “Rings of Power” series, the New York Post spoke exclusively with two of the rising voices in American geekdom: Paul Florez-Taylor—known as the Comic King—and Luke James—known as Pop Media Maven. As a team, we put our heads together to create the definitive list of characters that align with astrology and the zodiac. Follow the Comic King and Luke James for everything that’s hot in geekdom!

Find out which character aligns perfectly with your zodiac sign!

ARIES (MARCH 21 – APRIL 19): Galadriel

Galadriel is such an Aries. She is basically my mood board for my 30s.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

As one of the main protagonists in “Rings of Power,” Galadriel brings a driving energy for the forces of good in the series. Her courage and tenacity are easily reflected by the zodiac sign of Aries. Not only is she a leader–but she’s a warrior, as well. Her decisions throughout the show reveal that she will stop at nothing to fight back the shadows of Mordor.

TAURUS (APRIL 20 – MAY 20): Elendil

Elendil
Elendil is def a Taurus. He’s fierce and has his sh*t together. Keep on keeping on, Elendil.
Prime Video

Elendil, as a captain and warrior leader, reveals his innate sense of compassion repeatedly throughout “Rings of Power.” He trusts his judgment and is a loyal and strong person. Just like the zodiac sign of Taurus, he will fight for what he believes in and remain a figure of justice and devotion throughout the series. He knows that he and his forces can persevere no matter what.

GEMINI (MAY 21 – JUNE 20): Halbrand/Sauron

Halbrand
“Yassss bitch” is what we were all thinking when Halbrand outed himself as Sauron. Slay. Really hoping he pops up on my Raya.
Matt Grace/Prime Video

Throughout the first season of “Rings of Power,” Halbrand’s character remained an enigma. This is because he has the natural ability to fluidly navigate people, situations and battles. Geminis, too, have this innate tact and wit to be able to outmaneuver others because they are an Air sign ruled by Mercury. Also represented by the Twins, Geminis can have two sides to their personalities. Just as the shocking reveal of Halbrand happens in the finale, we understand that Sauron is a multi-faceted character capable of great good–and evil.

CANCER (JUNE 21 – JULY 22): Bronwyn

Bronwyn is total Cancer vibes. We should go dance in the rain.

As a figure of great strength in the Southlands, Bronwyn embodies both courage and sensitivity. As a mother to Theo, she not only functions in a powerful maternal role with him, but eventually steps into this same role for the people of the Southlands, too. Cancers always possess the ability to show compassion and love to others, as well as nurture and protect them.

LEO (JULY 23 – AUGUST 22): Queen Regent Miriel

Miriel
“Queen Regent” is a title I also aspire for. Get it, Miriel!
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

Queen Regent Miriel is a fierce character in “Rings of Power,” always seeking to lead with strength and wisdom. She also has quite a fiery personality, which is a trait of the zodiac sign, Leo. Miriel’s shocking twist in the first season, where she initially seeks to deny aid to the Southlands and Middle Earth but then instead rallies to join them in battle, further illustrates how she is guided by her heart and passions. Leos, too, are led by the fire within.

VIRGO (AUGUST 23 – SEPTEMBER 22): Nori Brandyfoot and the Harfoot Hobbits

Nori
The Harfoot Hobbits have way too much attitude for being hobbits, IMHO. But Nori can be cool.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

Nori Brandyfoot is a grounded, but imaginative Hobbit. She is also deeply devoted to helping others, including the Stranger when she finds him. This innate kindness and devotion to help him get to Rhun clearly aligns her with the zodiac sign of Virgo. Also, the Harfoot Hobbits are a part of a race of Middle Earth creatures that thrive and are deeply connected to nature and the land. As an Earth sign, Virgos always have a rapport with their element, too.

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 22): Elrond

Elrond
This dude is way too sexy to be straight. But I love Elrond and Libras so Elrond is TOTALLY a Libra.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

Regal, wise and immensely charming, Elrond is aligned with the zodiac sign of Libra. Sent to negotiate with the dwarves, he does so to benefit his entire race of elves. Also, partnership is important to him, as he makes a point to reconnect with one of his best friends, Durin IV. Elrond uses his intellect and communication skills to great benefit throughout the series–also traits of the Air sign, Libra.

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21): Adar, the Uruk and the Orcs

Adar
Adar is exactly how I always feel about all of my exes. Evil but I’m into it!

Known for their passion, intensity and desire for victory at all costs, Scorpios align with Adar, the Uruk and the orcs. Scorpios are also closely aligned in astrology with the “shadow self,” which is why Adar, the Uruk and orcs also embody these traits. While the protagonists of the series may view these characters as “the bad guys,” this isn’t actually the case–because in the eyes of Adar and his followers, they’re just fighting for what they hunger for–a home and freedom. And they’ll go to war for it if they have to!

SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 21): Arondir

Arondir
Arondir will slice a b*tch. We vibe.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

With an inner strength that has propelled him to courageously pursue adventure, Arondir aligns with the zodiac sign of Sagittarius. He refuses to be limited or be kept in a cage–which is especially true when he is captured by the enemy! He has a quick wit and a fiery attitude, ready to use his multitude of talents to protect those who he cares for. His hunger for new horizons and journeys will be viewed significantly in the series.

CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22 – JANUARY 19): Durin IV and Disa

Durin Disa
I’m OBSESSED with these bad b*tches.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

When it comes to the dwarves, Durin IV and Disa embody the regal and ambitious power of a Capricorn. Not only are they directly connected to the earth–just like Earth sign, Capricorn–they are also in line to be crowned as king and queen! Both of these characters are also quite stubborn, confident and grounded in their vision, which also resonates with this zodiac sign.

AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 18): The Stranger

The stranger
I had this moment where I was like: “OMG, am I the Stranger but nobody told me?” TBD.
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

As one of the most mysterious characters in the series, the Stranger is clearly someone who is eccentric and unique. This reveals that he embodies many characteristics of the Air sign, Aquarius. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet of freedom, the future and revolution, all traits that the Stranger–an Istar–possesses. The Stranger is also never afraid of standing out from the crowd!

PISCES (FEBRUARY 19 – MARCH 20): The Dweller, the Ascetic and the Nomad

Rings of Power witches
My besties and I are NOT people to mess with. Love these b*tches! Let’s have a kiki!
Ben Rothstein/Prime Video

In the first season of “Rings of Power,” we meet four sorceresses with immense power. Their magic runs wild, flowing through each of them in slightly different ways. Pisces, as the most mystical and spiritual zodiac sign, aligns with the three of them. Pisces are also extremely devout to their beliefs, which also echoes through these three characters as they believe the Stranger is the one-and-only Sauron.
