‘Wild ‘N Out’ star Jacky Oh’s cause of death revealed
Jacky Oh, the “Wild ‘N Out” star and longtime partner of her co-star DC Young Fly, died from complications of cosmetic surgery, according to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s report.
The manner of death was ruled an accident, according to the report obtained by Page Six on Friday.
The report states that Oh, whose legal name was Jacklyn Smith, had gone for a “gluteal augmentation procedure” on May 30, during which there were no complications.
Reports at the time of her death claimed that Oh had undergone a “mommy makeover” surgery in Miami.
She was prescribed medications including Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic), Oxycodone (painkiller) and Ondansetron (anti-nausea) for after the procedure.
But when Oh developed a relentless headache, a nurse reportedly advised her to take ibuprofen and stop the Ondansetron.
Oh “began to feel like her head was burning” and had “difficulty speaking” on May 31 when her aunt called emergency services.
However, Oh became unresponsive by the time they arrived and was then pronounced dead at the hospital.
She was 33.
The autopsy also states that Oh had swelling in her brain and excessive bleeding of the skin around her torso.
The mom of three leaves behind children Nova, Nala and Prince.
“Wild ‘N Out” confirmed Oh’s death in an Instagram statement on June 1.
