Wild video shows torrent of water bursting out of NYC high-rise

Massive bursts of water could be seen shooting out of a Hell’s Kitchen high-rise Thursday morning.

Video shared on the Citizen app, as well as by ABC News, shows a large burst of water streaming out of a building on West 42nd Street and 8th Avenue before falling down onto the street below.

It was not immediately clear what was causing the stream to be spewing out of the building.

The FDNY said it was responding to a water leak.
