Wimbledon 2023: Day 9 Order of Play and schedule – When are Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek and Jessica Pegula playing?
The Wimbledon locker rooms are getting quieter as the first of the singles quarter-finals arrive on Day 9.
On the women’s side, Iga Swiatek is up against the unseeded Elina Svitolina, who has made such an impressive comeback to Grand Slam tennis this year, having also reached the last eight at the recent French Open.

Top men’s match – Andrey Rublev v Novak Djokovic
After a minor wobble against Hurkacz, can Andrey Rublev do anything to dethrone Djokovic?
The Serbian looks to have all the answers at the moment, but Djokovic admitted he will need to adjust quickly to facing the world No. 7, who differs enormously in style to the big-serving Hurkacz.
If Rublev is going to do it, he will need to break one of the most extraordinary streaks in the history of Wimbledon, with Djokovic currently on a 43-match winning run on Centre Court.
The pair are second on Centre Court on Tuesday.
Top women’s match – Iga Swiatek v Elina Svitolina
Swiatek, the world No. 1, has taken time to improve on grass, with this being her first-quarter final at Wimbledon.
She is up against a relative veteran of the surface in Svitolina, who reached the semi-finals in 2019, and who has eight main-draw appearances under her belt to the Pole’s three.
The winner will face either Pegula or Marketa Vondrousova in the last four.
Brit watch
British singles interest ended in the first week when Katie Boulter lost to Elena Rybakina, but there remains plenty of home talent left in the doubles draws.
Jamie Murray and Michael Venus are in third-round men’s doubles action on No. 2 Court, while Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski feature on No. 3 Court.
In the mixed doubles, all-British pair Jonny O’Mara and Olivia Nicholls are in quarter-final action, last on Court 12.
