Woman charged in murder of Paris girl Lola Daviet discussed ‘selling body parts’

The homeless woman charged in the murder of a 12-year-old Paris girl who was found stuffed inside a suitcase reportedly told investigators that she had forced the child to take a shower before sexually assaulting her — and then boasted about “selling body parts.”

Dahbia B., who was indicted Monday in the grisly killing of 12-year-old Lola Daviet, told investigators that she took the girl to her sister’s apartment, forced her to take a shower and then “committed harm of a sexual nature and other violent acts against (Lola) that caused her death,” according to Agence France-Presse.

Daviet’s mutilated body was then found stuffed in a suitcase several streets from her home with her hands and feet bound with tape.

The numerals 1 and 0 were also bizarrely written in red on the soles of her feet, according to AFP. Earlier, it was reported that the numbers were “placed” on her corpse.

The young girl died due to “cardio-respiratory failure with signs of asphyxia and cervical compression,” according to the autopsy, which said she also had other wounds on her face and back, as well as large gashes on her neck.

“Evidence suggests that the girl was taken into the basement of the flat, where she was tortured and raped before being strangled and having her throat cut,” a law enforcement source told the Daily Mail.

When shown photos of the girl’s gruesome remains, Dahlia, 24, reportedly told authorities: “It does not make me hot or cold. I too was raped and saw my parents die in front of me,” according to the Mail.

“The suspect had boasted about selling body parts,” the source also told the outlet.

However, a native of Algeria who was described as having “extreme psychological problems,” made varying statements, switching between admitting and denying the facts of the case,” a source close to the case told AFP.

Five other people were arrested in connection with the shocking crime, including Dahlia’s older sister Friha B and a 43-year-old man who faces charges over sheltering the suspect in his vehicle, AFP said.

Four of them have reportedly been released.

The suspect’s lawyer, Alexandre Silva, expressed sympathy for Daviet’s family but asked the media not to report “rumors” — and said she was presumed to be innocent.

Meanwhile, mourners have gathered at Daviet’s school, the Georges Brassens school, to place flowers in her memory.

One woman told AFP that her daughter, another student, was “not doing well today” and “she doesn’t want to go to school.”

Chilling surveillance video from Friday shows the alleged killer and Daviet near the building where the victim lived with her parents, Delphine and Johan Daviet, who reported her missing about 4 p.m. that day.

The father, who is a caretaker in their building, decided to check the footage of their building in the city’s 19^th arrondissement and noticed their girl entering the building with a stranger.
