The 2023 World Athletics Championships are almost here.
The nine-day event in Budapest, Hungary, which runs from August 19-27, will offer an indication as to which athletes are in form ahead of next year’s Paris Olympics Games.
Among the stars competing will be Zharnel Hughes, Keely Hodgkinson, Dina Asher-Smith, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Faith Kipyegon, and Armand Duplantis.

Caroline de Moraes and Elisa Lukawski will also be on-the-ground reporting on the action in Budapest and interviewing all of the key athletes involved in the World Championships.
Which Brits are competing at the 2023 World Athletics Championships?
Zharnel Hughes, Keely Hodgkinson and Dina Asher-Smith look set to be the headline names in Great Britain’s team.
Hodgkinson won silver in the 800m at last year’s World Athletics Championships while Asher-Smith will be aiming for success in the 100m and 200m.
Katarina Johnson-Thompson will be competing in the heptathlon as she looks to build for Paris 2024 following injury issues.
